Justice Nabakooza Hands Over Planning Registry to HW Kaitesi

The outgoing Registrar Planning, Research and Development, Hon. Lady Justice Flavia Nabakooza, has handed over office to HW Mary Kaitesi, the new Registrar. 

During the handover, Hon. Lady Justice Nabakooza, who has since been deployed to Land Division of the High Court but first, she will be offering relief services to Mpigi High Court Circuit. She thanked the team for the continuous support rendered to her at the Registry and the overwhelming love and teamwork. 

She emphasized the need to continuously carry out Monitoring and Evaluation sessions so as to ascertain gaps to fill, for proper service delivery. 

Hon. Lady Justice Nabakooza handed over the registry reports for the time served as well as two laptops received as Registrar. 

The new Registrar, HW Kaitesi appreciated the efforts of the outgoing Registrar and promised to continue working together with the team. She urged them to keep advising her, to keep the great pace they have been moving at. 

The Head of Policy and Planning Department, Mr Opolot Simon Peter, appreciated the time Hon.  Lady Justice Nabakooza has devoted to work with the them and urged the members to render the same support to the incoming Registrar to enable her perform her best. He later introduced different members of the Unit with the roles they play and pledged full support for the new Registrar. 

He furthermore encouraged her to be open and give strategic guidance as far as resource allocation in the institution is concerned.

The handover ceremony was witnessed by Deputy Registrars; HW Paul Edoku (Research, Planning and Development), and HW Jessica Chemeri (Magistrates Affairs and Data Management) and staff from the Policy and Planning Unit.
